Virtual Changemaking Communities

HC Virtual Changemaking Communities

To help build community across our class years in a meaningful way, the Honors College has launched six virtual Changemaking Communities to engage students in shared experiences directly connected to our mission. Among the community choices are Community-Based Scholars: Service in Academia, Exploring Interdisciplinary & Global Perspectives, Active Allyship for Social & Racial Justice, Career with Purpose: Living & Working Meaningfully, and others. HC students must sign up by August 1.

This spring, our students once again demonstrated Curiosity,  Knowledge,  and Purpose as they collaborated in small interdisciplinary teams to create sustainable business and service concepts to address specific local challenges in communities near and far. Congratulations to all of the teams who presented before a panel of judges from business and academia and to our winners from this spring’s Forum Competition!
